Specialty & Approach
My Approach: As a Psychotherapist, I offer an integrated, interactive approach tailored to your specific therapy goals. Together, we will explore the challenges you are facing and develop strategies and techniques to help you achieve your mental health goals in a safe and confidential environment.
My Specialties: I specialize in working with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism (children to adults), and Depression. I have extensive experience in child and family therapy and parenting skills support.
Integrated Therapeutic Modalities:
Overall, I use Integrated therapy which combines elements from multiple therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional regulation and develop personal coping strategies.
Internal Family Systems: Using a compassionate approach, you are able to identify your inner “parts” while connecting with your core Self to achieve emotional balance and personal growth.
Psychodynamic Therapy: Explores unconscious patterns and past experiences to understand current behavior and emotions, aiming for deep-seated change.
Relational Therapy: Emphasizes the importance of relationships and interpersonal dynamics, exploring how interactions with others affect mental health and well-being.
Expressive Art Therapy: Utilizes creative processes like drawing, painting, and sculpting to help individuals express and process emotions and experiences.
Bowen Family Systems: Examines family dynamics and patterns across generations, focusing on differentiation of self and resolving family conflicts.
Play Therapy: Uses play as a medium for children to express feelings, explore relationships, and resolve psychosocial challenges.
Sand Tray Therapy: Involves creating scenes and stories in a sandbox using miniature figures to help individuals express and explore their inner world.
Systemic Family Therapy: Addresses issues within the family system, aiming to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and enhance functioning as a unit.
Schema Therapy: Integrates cognitive, behavioral, and experiential techniques to address deeply rooted patterns or schemas that develop from unmet emotional needs during childhood.
Neuroscience-Based Psychology Education: Provides clients with information about how the brain and nervous system influence behavior and emotions, empowering them with knowledge to support therapeutic goals.
And much more!
Ages: Children (age 5- up), Adolescents, Young Adults/College Students, and Adults of All Ages.
