Specialty & Approach

I have a deep respect for the wisdom and insight within each individual, and I believe every person has the innate capacity to heal and grow. I try to nurture this growth by providing an environment of warmth, acceptance, and compassion, as well as clinical skills and life experience. I greatly enjoy helping adults and teens create more fulfilling lives and move towards authentic well-being. I have experience helping people with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, grief and loss, parenting concerns, and troubled relationships.

In collaboration with clients, I draw on various therapy methods, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Sandtray-Worldplay, polyvagal-informed therapy, and mindfulness practices. I completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2008. I completed 3 years of training in Somatic Experiencing, a somatic-based approach to healing from traumatic stress. I will be Level 1 Certified in Internal Family Systems by the end of 2026.
